Hunting is one of the
many activities our Owners enjoy. Little Creek
offers some of the finest deer and turkey hunting in
the Southeast United States. Little Creek also
offers quail and dove hunting.
Deer hunting –
Wildlife management and specifically deer hunting,
gains a lot of attention, effort, and commitment
from our various committees and Owners. We
consistently communicate with a certified DNR
wildlife Biologist on deer herd management and food
plot recommendation as well as experts on various
supplemental feeding. Our deer herd is one of the
most numerous and quality centered herds in the
State. Our owners are limited to one buck and two
does per lot. The buck must have 4 points each side
and should score above 120, and so far we have
harvested two nice bucks each season. Each year, our
doe limit is 20 unless circumstances necessitates
modifications. Check out the photo gallery and you
can see for yourself the quality of deer Little
Creek has to offer. As you watch the deer meander,
you will enjoy the comfort, location, and scenery of
our 40 plus deer stands. Little Creek has some of
the nicest and most comfortable deer stands
available. These range from 25-foot tower stands to
12-foot double stands to 12-foot single stands.
Your personal tree climbers are always welcome.
Little Creek is separated into several hunting areas
where our owners’ reserve stands for the days hunt.
Every effort is taken to preserve your privacy in a
secluded environment, which will enhance your
hunting experience at Little Creek.
Turkey Hunting
– Our turkey population is one of the best in the
State as well. Each lot is allowed two gobblers per
season, which must have at least a 9-inch beard.
Several large birds have been harvested at Little
Creek. Check out our photo gallery for recent
harvests.
Quail and Dove
Hunting – Little Creek has two large quail pens
capable of housing 2000 birds at a time. We have
two main quail habitat areas, which are maintained
to support and promote bird reproduction and
retention. There are several feeders and call
centers located throughout the quail areas. In
addition, there are several dog pens available
anytime for your pointers. There are three primary
dove fields planted each year for the enjoyment of
our Owners.
Once you leave the field, you will have several
places to enjoy a nice fire and reminisce about the
days hunt.
